Why Bully Ray is the saviour of the Aces & Eights

bullyray_article_031313

As the Aces & Eights ascended the cage, Bully Ray and Jeff Hardy braced themselves for a fight. The main event of Lockdown was once again under threat from the biker gang. Earlier in the match, Hardy and Ray had disposed the intruding Garrett Bischoff and Wes Brisco from the cage, but now, all of the members of the rebel faction turned up in full force. Devon looked down upon his former tag team partner and threw across a hammer, which Ray not only used to smash the back of Hardy, but also smash the façade that he was the…

The following article features match-by-match thoughts of last Thursday’s edition of Impact Wrestling, which aired in the UK on Challenge TV on Sunday 16th September. There’s been a lot of talk lately of contract statuses, mostly those of TNA wrestlers. From Devon and Bully Ray to Velvet Sky and Angelina Love, it seems that everybody is hoping that the grass is greener on the other side.
