Kenta Kobashi ascended the top rope for the final time. The veteran landed on Kanemaru with a moonsault to provide a happy ending to his illustrious career. His tag team partners joined the referee in counting the three count. A career that started in 1988 was now over. Kenta Kobashi had retired.
